My Christmas present to myself was to attended SuperShoots in Seattle. SuperShoots is a two day Glamour workshop with a seminar in the morning and shooting time with the models in the afternoon. There were a number of stations with different lighting setups and we rotated through each of them to experience shooting with them.
JT Smith and crew fed us a lot of information in the morning then turned us loose with the models in the afternoon. All the instructors were accessible for questions and feedback as we were shooting, and made themselves available at the end of the day to review our shots.
This was a new experience for me and I have to admit I was a bit intimidated at first, but once we started shooting that feeling quickly left. If you haven’t attended one of these workshop I would recommend giving it a try next time they come to town.
